Chronic vs blend

I am looking to get either the 2013 chronics or the blends, i know the blends are still all mountain twins, but geared towards powder more than the chronics, but thats all i know. I ski all over the mountain and when i go to college in utah ill be skiing powder.

Well the blends are really wide which I would imagine would make them a bit less useful in the park, but I know they tear the mountain apart and powder as well. Personally I have the chronics and they are a fun ski to have in the park and groomers but I live on the east coast so I cant speak for their use in powder but they are a bit wider than an average park ski making them easier to float in powder I would assume.
 
No hate but 100mm underfoot isn't that wide, I mean it's kinda of wide but definantly still manageable in the park. So many people kill it on the blends, but since you go to school In Utah where pow is plentiful I'd go with the blends.
 
Blends would work fine even if u spent a little time in the park
