Chronic durable?

yes, skied them last season as my first park ski and then this season as rock skis, they came out in pretty good condition for riding them over dirt and rocks a lot, and also hitting rails as well. Bases are pretty strong, haven't gotten any edge cracks in them, overall one of lines best skis.

I loved my chronics to death, probably one of the funniest and poppiest ski I've ever ridden but I managed to snap them in about a season of riding.

Mine are holding up decent after two seasons. Lots of sidewall chips and a couple core shots, but no edge cracks and bases are in good shape

I had my chronics for two seasons and they were probably the be ski that I have ridden. they were really fun, buttery and poppy. They had very little swing weight so it was really easy to spin. as far as durability they were not the best at the end of the first season there were major edge cracks and in the end the base of the ski started pealing in half like a banana, edges were lifting out and the sidewall was all pulling off of the ski. if you are looking for a ski that you could have more than a season or two I would not recommend them but if you can spare the cost and expect them to break within a season or two, I would definitely get the chronic. I had just recently got the armada al dente but the chronics are still my favorite with way more pop, tail flex and so much lighter.
