Chronic, AR6 or La Rose

Alrighty. I did searchbar, but I didn't get the answers like I wanted. I'm deciding between these three skis because I can get them for cheap. I have not been in the park much AT ALL this season. Once I get bored of trees and other stuff I will go back in. I want a playful and very light ski.

I am 5'10" and 145 lbs.

The cheapest ski I can get is the Chronic 176 and the most expensive ski I can get is the La Rose 178. I work at Keystone Ski & Ride so the money isn't flowing in at all really. College budget.

Having been on all three skis before, I would say go with the Larose's. They are a bit stiffer but they are super light. They have a ton of pop to them and ski switch amazingly. If they were still out of your price range the AR6 is a good second choice, but I wouldn't choose the Chronic over those two. The Larose's absolutely slay!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I tried to ask this kid one night during night skiing, but he was being an absolute tool about it.

I got the AR6 center mounted with some sth 14's and love it... super sturdy ski. only prob i really have right now is top sheet getting fucked, but w/e, its just cosmetic. the bases are great, and the edges are very strong. Armada knows their shit in my opinion, and they're crazy chill about pro deals.

i haven't ridden the chronics or laroses though, so who knows. ar6's are just legitttttttttt

So I just ordered some AR6's from D-Structure SF and they didn't have the 176.They called me to tell me that they only had a 171, and this dude told me that the 171 and 176 is only an inch difference. This can't be true.

Yeah well that's 5cm there, which is almost 2 inches.
Oh and by the way, I have the 171 AR6s, and I'm 6', they work great for me although i should have gone for the 176s.

AR6s for sure. I have them center mounted and they rip. Don't settle for the 171s, you'll regret it. I bought a pair of skis that were a little too short one time cause it was a killer deal and now they are collecting dust in my garage.
