Chronic 2013 vs Line TC vs Armada ARV

Im looking into a new pair of skis for next season and need a little help. I ski basically 90% park unless there's powder. 75% rails 25% jumps. biggest jump i'd hit is a 40 footer. Im 5' 11" and weigh 170 lbs. I want a buttery ski that's light and durable in the park but can still handle outside of the park. If im overlooking any skis please let me know. K+ for solid advice

If your 90 percent in the park, i wouldnt get any of those. They are great all around skis, but something skinnier will be much better in the park. But if your set on getting one of those 3, get the TC for sure. ARV and Chronic might be a little stiff for your liking.

My dad owns a pair of arv's and in my experience riding them from time to time, have found that they do well enough in the park but are truly made more for non park riding. It isnt even close to being symmetrical, in flex and shape, and its recommended that you mount it at -6... i would probably stay away from it if you mostly ride park. That being said, it is my opinion, and it will most likely come down to how you ride. maybe demo them all before you buy.

Yeah the flex pattern is defiantly made for -6. I have my pair (165's) mounted at -1.5 and spent pretty much all last year in the park. I don't use them now, cause I bought some Thalls but they are a really solid and responsive ski. Sidewall gets munched like a bitch though.

i'll demo before i buy forsure but a lot of people skiing the i ARV's in the park (edollo for example) and they are 130 tip and 119 tail i believe and the thalls are 120 and 110 tip and tail so theres not much difference. i prefer a wider ski. probably gonna go with the chronics
