See how the brick wall changes colors as well? It's because your orange shirt has some similar shades of color as the shirt. When you're trying to key anything, the thing you're keying needs to be extremely different than anything else. That's why they used the bright green color in green screens, because that color doesn't pop up that often.

The orange shirt would probably work better if you were doing it on a black background or something. That way, you can up the tolerance of what it changes and get better results.

Naaaww sayin?

ya i understand
it was really my first chroma key work
but the only blank wall i have is like a wierd white color and my camera wouldnt capture it right

i was gonna go to a craft store and buy some bright green posterboard for like 65 cents and put it on the wall

ya but they poster board would be movable and i mean droppin 10 bucks for green screen isnt bad at all

use a matte to only key around the shirt, it doesn't have to be perfect but the closer the better. Obviously if you do it perfect you don't even need to key it.
