Remember back when we were young, Christmas was a titanic event on the calander. We all swelled with excitement and joy. Christmas has died in my heart, its just another day.
 
yea like when i was a kid i would shit myself forever about christmas. now its practically the 22nd and i could care less. shopping sucks too
 
Yhea, still a super fun day, event... but the "magic" isn't there anymore, I wonder if it is still there for little kids?

The same thing is happening for halloween.

i really wanna move to nyc or somewhere, wehre it feels like christmas... the past few years just havent felt so christmassy....and this year we actually have snow.
 
i would be so stoekd for xmas, back maybe 7-8 years ago. now its flying by. right now if i were 8 or 9, i couldnt wait!

Everyone is always like 'Christmas is so comercial' and i never really cared. But now it kinda disgusts me. The uber consumerism...maybe its cause i just spent 3 months in Europe and im just re-adjusting to the American way of things.

i feel the same way. all of these tv shows are talking about how everything is the gift to get. maybe it is that the older you get the more christmas loses it's magic and you realize that it is just another day except you get gifts and christ was born. does anybody else see those bumper stickers that say "keep christ in christmas."
 
fifth and where. Its nice in union square and uptown. But yea christmas isnt so exciting anymore. Also i know all of my gifts and have seen them in my house so its not so special

yeah it deffinately isnt christmas here in san diego. its 80 degrees all the trees have leaves on them still no one puts up lights. its kinda weak.

you are the one thats changed. i keep christmas alive! i listen to the peanuts christmas soundtrack, watch jingle all the way...all that shit. christmas is alive. YOU just have to have the spirit. it keeps it alive.
 
are you kidding christmas is not dead, atleast not for me, ive been waiting for so long. its my favorite holiday ever! nothing is better than christmas, i get all the stuff ive been waiting to have for the entire year.

Christmas has become the monetary exploitation of the torture and brutal death of the one Christian's call their savior. I won't lie. I haven't read any post below the top 3 but still. Complete and utter monetary explotation of he who supposedly gave his life for the sins of yours for money. The irony is overwhelming.
 
yea really i agree. it doesnt even feel like its christmas eve right now. i used to not sleep for a week when christmas was coming cas i was so fuckin excited
