Christmas in Park City

Hey guys,

I might be able to spend some time in Park City over christmas break.. possibly Dec 15-23rd. Aside from comments about crowds etc, what is your snow situation usually like? I'm not asking for a forecast, im just curious to know on average how it starts to shape up mid-december. It wouldn't be worth my time if there is no natural snow by then.
 
Yeah. Normally the snow is rippin by then. A few years ago I came on Christmas break and got like 80 inches while I was here. It was sick. Weather is weather though, and we won't know until it happens.
 
be completely honest the crowds are never that bad. there are a few days that they are real bad but other than that if you rip singles line its never more than 5 minutes. and conditions are usually goood by then
 
This is key. People complain about the crowds too much. And more often then not you will ride up the lift with at least one friend because they often call 2 singles or more
 
Yeah, crowds I can deal with.. that doesnt bother me. what will bother me is if I go there and theres no natural snow.. I can ski groomed runs back east all I want so it would be pointless for me. I'll be going from dec 13-19.. I'm guessing snow could be sketchy, but then again it could be dumping by then...hard to tell?
