Christian Bieri - Creativity in the park

Totally, but, damn i'm glad you brought attention to it, cos it made me laugh. As for Christian hes sick, well smooth and doing his own thing, that cess slide was fucking awesome. Chris Helberg is my Favorite skier to watch his combination of creativity, style, that is his own style which he didn't borrow from Mik D or TWall, and attitude make him more unique and more interesting than anyone else in my eyes. People with the surname Gangnier do come up with the largest amount of new tricks that I would not have thought of though, the creativity crown has to go somewhere I think it could sit quite nicely on the mantelpiece at their parents house.

I agree. Loads of style, but it is all stuff that people do every day. I watched that eheath vid w/ karl and it mademe want to go find something creative in the park.

Really? I mean Karl goes insanely hard, but all his tricks in that edit were pretty stock (i.e spins on/off and switch-ups). Just because he adds an extra rotation or goes bigger on some features doesn't make his skiing 'creative'.

Bieri's trick on the flat box was more creative than pretty much anything I saw in Karl's edit. Not to mention his awesome tip-stall thing and all his weirdly tweaked grabs.

That's the first thing I thought of too haha, using unnecessarily big words doesn't make you come across as smart.

Are you kidding me? Shut the hell up. The song was incredible and the edit was next level pull your head out your ass and appreciate it

I can't even count how many times I've watched that edit, so sick. I love that stomped sound you always have in your edits.

I don't see how that edit was anymore creative. Arguably less in my opinion.

"Creativity refers to the phenomenon whereby a person creates something new "

Then by definitely, OP video is not creative either. Everything he did, someone else had done before.

What I was mostly trying to point out about karl is he does tricks in ways that no one else is doing, cork 7 to side tranny? 180 side tranny to sw on front 3 swap? sw lip 4 disaster? blind 4 off the box transfer top of wallride? shit like that. It's hard to do something "new" in skiing, you're always going to be doing tricks others have done, but karl manages to do things no one else at PC does and doubt most people would even think about doing.

jesus christ when did i not respect the edit? I am just disagreeing with the OPs statement of the video being "creative" was a stretch. The tip stand thing was the ONLY "creative" thing he did. That one trick does not make this guy the king of creativity. We obviously have different views "creativity" but im over arguing about it. The edit was sick.

I dunno about you, but there were a couple tricks in that edit that I've never seen before and a lot of tricks that very few people have done.

When I clicked on your edit I was expecting a lot more.

since when did creativity mean tweaking grabs and doing tip stands? you kids all deserve a good cock-whipping for being so damned dumb.

1. Garrett is most definitely not the best.

2. how can you hate on Gangier's grind variations? it's something different that very few people do or have the ability to do.

3. everyone DOES care about Eheaths opinion because he skis around some of the best and most stylish skiers in freeskiing on a daily fucking basis. not only that but i can almost guarantee you that Evan has a bigger bag of tricks than you do...and he hasn't made an edit of him self for 4+ years now. who cares who he "talked shit about"? it's the internet for christ sakes...show me a member Eheath hasn't ripped on.

4. why would you say "peace and love" at the end of a post when you're bashing someone for their opinion you hypocritical fuck?

edit was dope, but nowhere near Nine Nights caliber.

Definitely a few tricks I have never seen before, especially liked the dub tail to truck 180. Just generally like the guys style, be good to see him at 9knights.

if spinning and an occasional gap in the park with a generic style is creative then yes. I dont want to hate on Karl because that was a banger edit but i wouldnt consider it the least bit creative compared to people like will wesson, andy perry etccc.

show me a park edit of them being more creative and i'll give you that. otherwise, the most creative they get in the park is just doing hippy killers and tip dips... that's all. karl was hitting everything way different than anyone else that still hasn't been repeated. comparing andy and will as a whole (urban/different park set ups) to karl in a single park is stupid anyways.

take note everyone... at 2:48 evan heath reaches the pinnacle of creativity at which he climaxes and busts a nut.

but yea just cause he lands gnarly shit super flat doesn't mean he's creative.

I don't even know why I'm replying to this, but this post is so egregious I can't resist. Did you seriously just ask to be shown a creative park edit from the TC crew? Actually? .. Have you even watched any Travelling Circus episodes?

If you guys like that creative stuff - Check this edit.

That should approve the creativity I have been talking about.

P.S. He is skiing without his poles because of a hand injury.

such a sweet edit. I didn't really catch everything the first time watching it, but after watching it a few more times I definitely agree with the OP

this is how i know you didn't fucking read my post... or maybe you did but you're just too damned retarded to comprehend what i wrote.

if you peeps like tip stands... Check out Garret Russell's edits from a couple years back. Dude was/is on another level with those.
