Christ turpin= triple flatspin...

History forgot steeze.. we're here to correct that. only, it took longer than once thought just because tom wallish and henrik harlaut were very late babies
 
that frankie b footage was epic, i dont know what this guy is talking about ^^ that is chock full of steeze.
 
a flatspin doesn't even look like a flip so everyone complaining about how "gay" triples look, wait till you see the video. its gonna look like niklas ericsson's dub flat except with one more flatspin - so sick. henrik's doing them now too (maybe he's already been doing them, not sure), insanely sick.
 
Just wanted to add my appreciation for Turpin.

From two years at High North in 2003/2004 and skiing with him at Whistler a few times I realized that he is one of the most genuinely nice people out there.

Funny, sincere and void of any ego.....thanks for some great memories Turpin.
 
this is true. hes been my coach twice at momentum and hes all around such a nice guy. hes sick at skiing too and he needs more exposer. ns should do an interview with him!
 
i was there on the jump when this happened it was sickkkkk

sadly he did land on his feet then washed out there were 2 cameras rolling so im sure it will be on the next momentum edit
 
props to the max. just for having the balls if nothing else. i dont care if its stylie or not, because as time as proved style comes with time. triples may or may not catch on, either way props to turpin..

i hope someone isn't trying to hold on out on this shot. I mean Turpin is a purest skier and he skis to ski for the love of it. He has no big contracts to big companies compared to Dumont, Tanner, or Carlson so I see no reason why it shouldn't be up by now.
 
they are obviously holding out on releasing the footage to get as much hype as possible. Cmaahn! this is almost as bad as the JOSS edits!
 
My rules for likeing doubles (and similar stuffs):I can tell exactly what and how many rotations are being thrown first view = Good trickI can't = too messy for me
 
this triple was a clean and legit triple, it wasn't just throw yourself off the jump and see how many spins you can do
 
thats a good thought, but when you watch turpins triple, you'll think it is a double its so smooth, which is a flaw in your rules. kinda like HH's sw 14 in turbo...makes it look like a switch 10
 
Well then I am looking forward to seeing this, because I like to fancy myself as having an acceptional sense of identifying tricks.
