Everybody should check this vid out. its turpin's seg from Versys. The editing is off the hook and even if you aren't a fan of this crazy guy, (which you should be)you will definately appreciate the editing and the way it is put together, i have never seen anything like this before.

saw the movie, you should check it out, its amazing.

its a sick sick segement too, that HUGE gap to rail is the craziest jib ive seen to date. then when it shows the near extreme sterilization when he just misses the rail, that musta been the scariest thing in the world

jesus christ where has Turpin been all these years. I've seen so many ski films with tanner and CR and all that bullshit and what I just watched was the most amazing skiing segment ever. The editing was pretty damn good too, but that huge gap to rail that Turpin did looked almost unreal. Turpin you are my new hero

BUT that segment was so badly edited in my opinion. I didn't really fell watching it at all. I'm so glad I didn't order Versys.

Yeah - I totally agree. The editing was nothing special at all in my opinion. The only creative part was the sequence on the huge Superpark gap/table, and even that wasn't too great. But the filming was decent, and the skiing was awesome - nollie over that roller? Got to try that one as soon as I get back on the snow.

no, he's not 'underground' as you say, hes really really well known cause hes a sick innovative rider. Grunow and Finn are sick too, loved their segements in Strike 3

yeah turpin is isane theres somethin wrong wit that guy....apparently he came to mt creek, nj one day back when glen plake was here and skied with a newschooler on here actually. Tuprin was like trying to jump off the lift, doin like 180s in rocks and grass off the trail and shit, and don tip stands into the snow so that he would sink into the snow....that segement was insane by the way.

Turpin is the man. He's taught me so much about the sport and about learning stuff and everything. Definately a cool guy.

If you havent already, check out Versys. Paul Cotton is an amazing video dude... The bonus footy on Versys is last years movie 2 Track movie!! Totally worth the money.

I think Turpin's skiing is VERY innovative. Switch pipe runs, switch 270 to rail over a 55' gap! And the number of tricks he has dialed natural and unnatural is sick! Watch his seggy closely and you'll see how tech it is.
