mad underrated, this guy is gonna dominate in the years to come. I personally believe that he last year, progressed more than any other person. While skiers are barely able to do things switch in the pipe, his entire run was switch. He is also creating new grabs, and has a totally original perspective on skiing since he didnt come from moguls, or racing.

yeah... his background doesnt need to be brought up... but considering hes skied waht, 5 years now? im thinking fo him to be a pro already = skills out his ass... plus hes a pimp.

Turpin not only helped me learn a large portion of ehat I know about skiing the park, he also taught me a about the ladies. I hope he kills it, and I know he will.

 
whatd he tell you about the ladies... he didnt tell me shit... he just got my name wrong for a long time... and i just let it slide... but then he figured it out and got pissed... but he remembered me after that. now i have a dollar bill that says you fucked your eye.. signed by turpin, cause i split my eyelid open wakeboarding.

I agree turpin is off the chains, but he has been 'up and coming' for a few years it seems. I have no doubt his switch pipe run will dominate a few events, but I can't see him taking any titles from candide(poor knee), tanner, seth and the rest

I didnt say he competes with seth, but seth is just one of the top names in big mtn. Maybe turpin will be one of the top names in pipe, but so far he hasn't won a ton. Let's clarify though that I think he is ridiculously off the chains and is super styley in general

yeah he was pretty much pro his first season, but took him about 2 more years to get noticed. Comming from a different background into skiing is so much better because you look at it completley differentley. I used to race motocross but now all I do is ski, because hitting a 50-60' booter on skis is harmless compared to hitting a 120' double on a 200lb bike.
