Chris lakers illest edit entry is ill...

well i havent reead this thread till now. and i skied with laker the last 4 days laping at mount snow and at pfc. by his second run he can throw 9s and 10s thats just unreal. saying he has no control is just retarted i think i have seen him fall about 10 times literaly in the last year. this kid has so much air control that he landed his first attempt at sw dub 10 and a forward dub cork 12. i have also seen him do these tricks and every other teck trick he can do on 50- 90 foot jumps. style is something completley different from technical tricks. if you dont like his style it happens you dont have to but saying that he has no air control and cant take these tricks to bigger jumps is just funny cause you are so wrong. Laker kills it and may not have a thug style but about one of the smoothest styles i have seen.
 
Holy fucking hate train. The kid is way too good to deserve this much hate in one thread.

He throws down like crazy, seriously I don't even think I've seen him fall and I ski at pns my fair share of days. He has an enormous bag of tricks that he can pull out whenever he likes. Yeah so his style isn't thug. Who the fuck cares. I mean last time I checked, doing a dub cork 12 with a mute grab isn't supposed to look easy. And on top of his skiing. Chris is probably one of the nicest kids that I have ever spoken to. He is so incredibly humble and you would never know he was really good until you saw him do something. Also, I'm not exactly the greatest skier, and I certainly do not make everyone happy all the time, but despite that Chris is super friendly to me always asking me how my filming is going ect. Can't beat that in my opinion. Kid that sleys and is super nice. WOW!

i mean no hate towards the kid. if i ever met him id totally be down to take a few laps with him. i just personally dont think that his style is at the level that someone like Level 1 looks for.

Chris is one of the nicest kids you can ever talk to. And to you people who say hes got no style, im pretty sure every trick I have seen him do in any edit or when im out there skiing when he is, I have not seen him roll the windows or flail, and he pretty much lands banged all the time.
 
I think you're right, kid is a good comp skier but no way in fuckin hell do I want to watch a segment of him in a movie. I mean his picture is in the dictionnary right besides "spin to win". To each his own type of skiing!
 
well and just the absurd defending of him like i said i hated their child. i dont like his style. that doesnt mean he needs to change it, or that anyone needs to freak out THAT badly.
 
His style doesn't do it for ME, but god damn, is he a great skier. His spins and just overall bag of tricks are real damn impressive. We'll see him around for sure.
 
Uh, that's not true at all. He always does Aspen Open and did Winter Park Open this winter as well. He was in 7th going into finals at Winter Park Open before they canceled it due to weather. He also competed in the Dew Tour Open Qualifier as well this year.
