Whats up with it? anyone have any info? heard it might be "bent" like his name so like a huge pow ski?
 
its called the "bent chettler" or something... im guessinfg it will be like a rockered thug. something along those lines. but i expect it to compete with the hellbent, EP pro, and new JJ
 
symmetrical

mid 120's under foot

regular camber or no camber under foot with a late symmetrical rise near to the end of the tip and tail.

makes it way better for actually skiing but works the same as a rocker.
 
i ski with the thug and i love it. i think that with the rocker it can be so dope, can't wait to try it!

by the way, the pics in the forum are sick, specially the pillow line!!!!!
 
anyway, if they look like or not lije moment skis... this brand we could say that almost invented skis (atomic) so dude there's no comparison in quality, not arguing that moments are bad cause i;ve never ridden them, but i think if the brand's been for more than 50 years making skis they may know a lil bit...
 
sorry, but they do. Three pairs of moments have been broken at my mountain just in the last year, and there are probably only about 10 moments total at my moment, those aren't good odds. Plus i've read about a bunch of kids who broke theirs on here as well, i love moment, but i think they should invest some more money into making their skis sturdier
 
I sure hope that its a tad stiffer than the thugs, I found them too soft, which eventually led to there death
 
They admitted they had faults with fibreglass and other issues too.

I think you will find that there warranty policy is better than any other ski company and a hell of a lot more efficient.

This year they will have the biggest increase in sales out of any company. That is my prediction and belief in what they are doing. Everything is superb.

Wait until winter before you judge.

Why don't you tell me which Moments are flexy...

It's to do with the type of wood they use (aspen, sacrifice durability for lower weight), and they had problems with edge manufacturers and fibreglass (jibbing skis).

But that's not my point. Which Moments are flexy? You tell me. They're all stiff or medium flex. Flex wasn't the issue at hand with last year's skis

 
The melee was a noodle wasn't it?
that's why bibby stiffened up his promodel as it was based n the melee and it was too soft.
Just throwing it out there, no hate at all, I am on the moment boat.
 
Yea, the Melee was a good stiffness underfoot but I think it the rest of it was too soft for a rockered ski. Too soft + rocker = no good, it's gonnaa wash out a lot and then break.
