Chris - B hit by racer

a broke back racer who was "Carving" through the park at hood ran into him and he may be out for an extended period of time due to a knee injury. the end

if i was benchetler i would have kidnapped that bitch and made him suck dicks in frisco to pay off my medical bill

i think the racing is cool comment above was e-sarcasm....

as for the racer, he should be strung up on a snowcannon, and then left there for the season..

Chris Booth or Chris Benchetler?

I would have rocked someone. He has had it so roungh with injury

I don't know what you guys are talking about when you say all racers are asshole...all the ones I've met are tight.

and racing is fucking hard, don't bash it until you do it. I can garuntee you that flying down a downhill course at 80+ mph is ten times scarier than stomping shit over a 60 table.

we even have a video of my brother in a downhill race that was on the news....he didn't suck up a knuckle right...Now just imagine flying 100 feet downhill going 80 mph on a pair of 210cm skis in a zuit suit (spandex race suit, for those of you who never raced)

racing is fucking tough....and don't bash. Jon is a racer. WHAT

dude, now i want to carve switch through a course...hahah that would be insanely funtastic! hahaha but yeah that racer sounds pretty broke back.

"Whoever after due and proper warning shall be heard to utter the abominable word "Frisco," which has no linguistic or other warrant, shall be deemed guilty of a High Misdemeanor, and shall pay into the Imperial Treasury as penalty the sum of twenty-five dollars." Johsua Abrahm Norton

Frisco-improper way to abbreviate San Francisco and a sure way to let someone know you aren't from there or spent any real time there.

you suck a dick.

racing is hard and pretty dope, but it sucks that racers don't think about anyone else on the mountain (yea, general stereotype) My aunt was racing out at steamboat and when she was just skiing for fun down some run and racer guy reemed her and she was in a wheelchair for 2 years... fuckin idiot.

racing is dam hard if you are in the higher levels and there for i kknow they deserve respect. I know i use to be one, but ripping threw the park is not cool. we use to give other racers shit for that when they fucked around in the park.

and i deffinatly did carve threw the race course's switch when i was a racer and now when im not, the younger coach's think its funny and sweet but the older ones get pissed

what kind of courses are you carving switch?....i raced tanner and cr backwards down a gs....and we couldnt carve the whole course...

well were you using the same skis that u hit rails on, or did you actually have sharp edges, because race courses are real icy

Racing is cool, but doing it straight through the park isnt. Racers dont seem to realize that in the park people are stopping to hit things, and dropping out of the sky. Its just dangerous to go hauling ass through the park.

nice try on sounding all high and mighty, but frisco is a town in summit county right in the middle of breckenridge, keystone, and vail.

that sucks big time, but u gotta rember that this shit happens, even tho its shitty, but dont get mad at the racer, sure maybe it was his fault but i have hit a person in my time aswell, and i have been hit 2

i had brand new pe's....but even with sharp edges, it's impossible to carve every turn in a legit race course, backwards... unless of course you are superman.

I ride sometimes with some ex-racers ( and hot racer chicks at my hill)...and they are ok sometimes, and yes, racing is hella hard to do well on a legit course...but the thing I hate about racers is that because they're good skiers, they act like they own the damn mountain...we'd be working on features in the park last year and racers would come flying down the hill, almost running into people and they hitting the features we were building on, not safe at all. So yes, racers are generally very good skiers, but alot of times they have a high and mighty attitude that makes them douchbags.

You should have mounted up some race skis with the bindings on backwards. In fact you should ride backwards mounted skis the whole time.

thats because its physicly impossible (due to the human body's design) to truly carve a ski while going backwards. your knees just dont bend in the right way to pressure the tips (in a switch scenario, this would be the tails).

doesnt matter who you are, you cannot truly carve skis while switch. you can rail them (which is the same idea) but you arent pressuring the tips as done in a true carved turn.

im on the ski team and next year (my senior year) i dont give a shit about the team so one race i am going to do the run switch for sure.

damn straight... i think i'd void my bowels if i actually saw someone ski an entire GS course switch. ski it, not slip it.

heres a rap for u,

racing is uber gay,

just like how u and ur boyfriend play,

all u racers think ur cool,

but all i think when i see ya i damn their moms r tools,

i dont mind the spandex or any o that,

just ur lame ass attitudes that smell like shat,

the next time u bomb through the park,

think about how u look with that dildo hanging out ur ass, u stupid nark

what

I can ski through a race course switch easily, just not carve. I can carve a few gates in a row but then I have to skid the next one. carving an entire course would be fuckin nuts. you should get your dad to do it! he probably could!

I didnt dis racing nomensteven, read what i said, there are lots of people on this site that hate racers and normally people would get flamed for it.. so dont say anything unless you understand what your replying to.

sorry sir but ur partially wrong, i used to race so u cant bash me for not doing it, but most racers dont fly 80 mph through a course and u should know that, that would be downhill, and the amount of people that do downhill out of gs and slalom shit and ur classic "racing" is such a small precentage. Think out ur shit and do some reasearch.

hahahaha i love how all you east coast GRINDERZ are hating on racing and claiming you can "carve" a race course swicth when you proably have the worst switch stance known to mankind...i have yet to see a kid on newschoolers from the east coast who has a good switch stance.....i FUCKING HATE YOU ALL.......hahahahahahaha

Haha...I was there, and it was pretty intense, the racer was on the ground crying pretty hard...I almost caught it on film, I wish I had now.
