Choosing new boots

Just wanted some of your guys' input on the kind of boots I should get for my next pair. I've narrowed the search down to about 4 pairs. I'm lookin at either the Salomon 1080's, the Salomon Pro Model's, the Tecnica Icon Alu HF, or the Rossignol Freeride X's. What do you guys think? I do about 50% park, 50% All mountain. Ski on Salomon Scream 10 Hot's & Public Enemies.

 
those boots all fit very differently. therefore no one here can really help you, you kinda have to get the one that fits your foot. Rossi's are real narrow, 1080's are pretty wide, Pro-models are slightly narrower than the 1080's. It depends on your foot.

Yeah, I have somewhat of a narrow foot so maybe going with the Pro Models or the Rossi's would be a better choice, I guess your right, trying them all on would be the best bet. However, finding a shop near me that stocks these boots is proving a bit difficult. Guess I'll just have to go into the shop when I head up to Northstar tommorow.

 
yeah, the 1080's might be a wider foot bed but the calf is wicked narrow

I would go with Lange or Salomon. The Salomon Pro Models and Lange 120 FR are both basically a softened up race boots which are great for all mountain and park skiing. Salomon straight up copied the Lange design that they have been using for years. The langes are a little narrower than the Salomon. But both boots work pretty much the same. I know a boot fitter who actually combined the cuff from one of the salomon race boots with the forfoot of a Lange just to prove it. Without knowing how you ski I would suggest not going with the 1080s unless you want something really soft. It is actually a great boot for a lot of women.

 
don't listen to advice on boots.....go try them on and get which one is the most comfortable on YOUR foot.
