choobs are so noobish. they take there asian bodies onto the ski slopes and create problems

one time as i was skiing the park at killington goin off this 35 footer and everyones waitin at the top and then i call next and right wen i was about to go this choob goes down at 5 mph and just goes right over the jump and wipes out and sits under the jump for like 10 minutes, trying to get his ski on. i thought i was going to slay him.
 
i think it sounds like racism. they're just the same as any other noober, no worse, no better, the fact that they're chinese doesn't change anything.

the only oriental people i'v seen go off a jump were these two snowboarders i know and one is total mental throwing tricks you would think possible on the thngs he does them off and the other just has such smooooth stylee.
 
so what. Asians who come to Canada or the states to ski are fucking douche bags, waaaaay more so than other races. foreign Asians are just pushy as fuck, is that just how their culture is in the far east?

Asians who are here and raised here are totally cool, I have absolutely no problem with them. but the tourist Asians are definitely worse than any other race of tourists. so pushy, and act like they are in their own world. Call me a racist, but it's true weather you believe it or not. They all come on their buses and come to malls and ski resorts and are just total fucking douche bags that don't speak any English and expect everyone to wait on them and don't bother to learn our culture at all one bit. Fuck them, the only reason why I think they should even be allowed here is because we make $$$ of them.
 
Hey I resent the generalization. Not all asians are Chinese. How would you like it if we all generalized all white people as French?

I am of asian descent and can safely say that I am a very strong skier. Also I am Vietnamese and resent that I am being generalized as a Chinese. (Cuz we are better)
 
generally ther is a difference between noobs and asian noobs, noobs (also known as gapers) just get in the way but will move if you yel at them (generally). Asian noobs have no freaking idea whats going on alot of the time and unfortunately it's extremely difficult to get your point across to them due to a language barrier. They annoy me. 

note:this is not to be confused by asian who can actually ski/ride and know whats up on the hill but just can't speak english.
 
im chinese and i can say first hand, choobs are by far worse than normal noobs. theyre arrogant, they suck and are inherently way less athletic than white people, and they refuse help. Speaking in chinese which is also inherently a very unpleasant sounding language (right up there with spanish) doesnt help.

I used to be a choob. Even last year. Looking back at my old edits i cringe hard.
 
yeah...it most of asia and europe it is very pushy, never been to asia to ski, but the culture there is very pushy in general, and european lift lines...dont even get me started, its caios there, people grinding up behind you is normal, no homo, shits a mess, and skiing with them is even worse, the majority of europeans i have encountered are pushy racer types, but this was about Azn so lets get back to that

It's those who don't speak English or have any idea what goes down in North America who piss people off. I grew up in Vancouver, a pretty multi-cultural place, so I have a lot of buddies who ski/ride pretty well but aren't 'white'. However, those who don't speak English simply have no clue, do something wrong to piss off groups of people, and then think that they are in the right and act like nothing has happened. Others go straight to the front of the line and cut people off, or crash and don't say sorry, or whatever.

Being asian, I personally dislike how most people just call any asian 'chinese'. But that's a separate issue.

I have no problems with the word 'choob' - but just be certain that they are really a choob before you start treating them like one.

 
I think that there are a fair amount of generalizations being made in

this thread, as well as racist comments, and ignorance. However, some

of those statements do hold some truth, because with each

generalization, there must have been a situation or instance to support

it, yes there are Asian people who come on their tour buses and know

nothing. I am sure because of the language barrier and the culture

barrier, there has been miscommunication and misunderstanding to lead

to the assumption of rudeness. Just like any other noob, regardless of

race, it is likely that the noobness is derived from lack of education

on mountain/skiing etiquette as well as experience which is not a

product of being a certain race. And hey, everyone has to start

somewhere, get experience and learn the ropes. And as for the hate on

Asians going on in the thread, all I can say, is people fear what they

do not understand or are not familiar with.
 
they are tourists. u sure as hell dont learn other countries cultures when you go visit. not to mention you are making GIANT generalizations.

word. Driving especially holy fuck, its no wonder they all use bikes for fuck sakes, One time at my work the guy drove his car down the sidewalk to get to parcel pick up. Another time it took some choob lady (double threat right there) 10 min to pull into a simple parking spot..... Choobs what can you do.
 
Please don't include Japanese people into this "Choob" category. If you ask anyone who's met anyone from Japan, they'll tell you that we are some of the chillest people, skier or not. Just check out the past couple NS articles on nippon open or that halfpipe contest. The authors always have to mention how great the Japanese people were.
 
choob is indicative of chinese.

joob would indicate japanese but frankly that doesnt roll off the tongue as easily.

I think that different asians are very different. Chinese and japanese are very different in my opinion. same with vietnamese and malaysians. So saying someone is asian is like saying someone is european. theres big differences between say turks and scandinavians for example

i work in rentals and on the form they put down there name obviously and we had this asian come in and guess what his name was

for real no kidding in japan I had to get some of their condoms for my girlfriend and I just got the reg ones they had, and they were so small im not kidding srsly im not that big anyways
 
like maybe they have extra large somewhere but i got the biggest ones they had a this hotel convenience store and they were so small
 
I think all tourists are stupid, it doesn't even matter what race you are, where you are from, or where you are.
