China owns enough US currency to seriously, I mean seriously cripple the US economy. ALso the US is importing way more than it is exporting, expecially from China. China has the US in it's pocket more and more everyday. China is rich. It's the old empires are built on slavery thing. Rome was built through slavery, the US was built throguh slavery, and now China is being built through slavery.

 
its true, kinda scary considering that we dont get along with them all that well, at least not as well as we should, considering how much we have invested in their economy

if they really wanted to, they could switch all their investments to Euros. Devaluating the us currency and making eveyr single american poorer then a mexican.

You are so right piot. I am going to be a poor mexican probably by tomorrow because that is exactly how world economics work. The US has absolutly no pull monetary wise in the world. We are all completely helpless.

but it is rapidly declining

and will decline alot more rapidly after oil exports start to be calculated in euros.

Well my econ professor studies 'dollarization' thats his area of expertise and he said that the U.S might be converting to Euros.

We pay our debt sometimes.
