read the comments, it gets a little spooky in there. hard saying if he's actually a neo nazi, or just one of the sad millions of people in our country who have gotten all of their "historical" and "political" world views from youtube conspiracy videos.

its honestly just sad because people like that obviously have a spark of intellectual curiosity, and if they would've read a book or even just look at their internet resources with as much skepticism as they do the traditional outlets they would draw different conclusions. however, the drug addled mind craves connections, and they draw them where they don't exist. conspiracy is like an ointment for the masses because it provides a quick and easy answer when there actually isn't one. he's saying it was used as a reason to go war when in reality nobody even knew what was happening yet and antisemitism was still rampant in the US at that time. the existence of camps was only rumored, but nobody knew the extent. The US military was completely dumbfounded when they liberated the camps. Even the Russians, no strangers to a good old fashioned pogrom were horrified by the extent.

yes, 100% there were financial incentives for the US to enter the war, but to say the holocaust was propaganda and to discount the 6 million jews killed in the most efficient, systematic genocide the world has ever known is fucking tragic. To say that is to completely ignore the fact that 40 million innocent civilians died in Europe from combat, mass bombings, disease and starvation so that Hitler and the Nazis could have more "lebensraum" (living space) for the "ubermensch" (master race).
