Chile

Hey,

Been planning to live in Chile (and maybe Argentina for a bit) next summer. I'd be there from June to end of August. Does anyone have recommendations for what city to try and live in, where to ski, what pass to get and just general tips. The idea is to stay in cheaper hostels and maybe try to get a ski related job that'll pay under the counter but I've saved up a decent amount of money and will be working a lot this winter with almost no current living expenses. Anyways, any tips you guys have would be welcome!

Ps, I know the season there doesn't really start until late June/July usually but am planning to get settled and explore a bit before ski season as well

Yeah dont do that. You'll probably make more money just working 2-3 days a week remotely for a US company.

Argentina is way cheaper and if you go to Bariloche or San Martin de los Andes, there is actually a town near the ski hill, which does not exist in Chile really. Also you should adjust your schedule and show up in July and stay til September.
