portillo in chile i believe is considered a great place. i think there is a place called valle nevado thats good. they probly all get alot of great snow

I just got back from Portillo in Chile. It was epic. Only like 10 people there liked to ski pow. Fresh tracks for days after a storm (if you get the storm). Check out the hostel. Many cool people. Very cheap.
 
i can tell you about chiel cause i live here... if you want to ski pow portillo, chillan and also the three resorts near santiago ( el colorado, valle nevado and la parva) are very good... if you come to santiago specially el colorado and want to ski and party just let me know and i can help you with anything and let you know of the good spots... and for park the best one is in el colorado comparing to the ones in la parva and valle nevado, portillo and chillan don't have one.
 
in chile they call being high "being like a monkey" or "monkey" (translated obv.). so if some chill-looking guy comes up to you and asks you if you are a monkey, say no, and ask if he can help you become one.

true story. seriously. chile sounds awesome.
 
Just skied the deepest pow of the year in Cerro Catederal yesterday and made out with some of the finest ass in the world. I say everyone should go to Chile! Fuck Argentina.

if i hadn't just been blessed with 6 ft offshore and barrelling, i think i would be in tears at this news!
 
hmm just got back from Chile.. Valle Nevado was better riding.. But I thought El Colorado had a pretty sick park and bar in the park
