say you were dating this hot chick, every thing is going great in this relationship... but maybe 2 months 3 months she starts bring up god and how she sees angles and god brought you together and she is hardcore religious, would you break up with her...god this god that god this god that

to me i dont think i could deal with god, hahaha yeah id break up with her.. religion gets annoying after a while
 
At least she didn't try to tell you that the only reason there are no dinosaurs among us today, are because Noah couldn't fit them onto the ark. Be thankful.

i dated this religious girl like 2 years ago, if theyre abstinant, you aint gonna change them. im friends with her and we were recently having a discussion and i was like "what about evolution. it seems pretty obvious" and she said, quite seriously i might add, "it all started with adam and eve but god put signs of evolution on earth to trick us.
 
i have had a girl break up to me because her youth group at church didnt think i had a strong enough relationship with God.
 
Here's a good one for you guys....one of my friends got dumped by her boyfriend a while back and he had one HELL(pardon the terrible pun) of a reason for it.....God was jealous of their relationship! I personally wouldn't get too wrapped up with a religious person just because I'm not a big fan of religion, but if you can handle it by all means go for it.

Wow, the most religious person I've met was my friend on soccer who is Mormon. Seriously, a person who doesn't believe in evolution should really, really think seriously for a while about taking a rope and hanging themselves.
 
I believe in evolution...but I also believe in creation. I don't see how they can't coexist. God created us/nature/etc. and we have evolved (science/technology/etc.). But as far as evolution goes, scientist disprove their own theory, because the 2nd law of Thermal Dynamics is that all matter is in a constant state of decay!

Sorry to get all exhaustive on you, years of study has been compiled into that paragraph.
 
yeah im definately gonna agree with gotama and go with "uneducated". no intelligent christian would ever say that. its rediculous.
 
Naw it's ok you said all that because it was an intelligent post and there's nothing bad about that. But you do know that a religious person that solely believes in creation from a higher power (aka God) wouldn't either accept the idea of the 2ond Law of Thermal Dynamics... I think because it uses science as a basis.
