On an unrelated note, anyone know a good name for a group of young men participating in a predominantly white, affluent past time like golf, or even skiing? The name will have to be purely performative of course, no edginess from it will come from actual radical stances on things, just the aesthetic will feel punk while being all bark and no bite. I’m thinking the name will be “slavery” since these boys will be slaving away in the hot sun swinging their 3 irons down the park city fairway while the rest of us get to relax at our jobs five days a week until we die. And anyone that thinks that our name is ‘tone deaf’ or ‘minimizing the seriousness of slavery’ can shove it, because we actually do care and our name is simultaneously meant to bring awareness to the issue. See, we’re the good guys no matter what! ???
