i watched some doco on him recently and hes hilarious. particular snippet i watched was him just riding his quad bike round his backyard and spitting up dirt at the journo

Honestly, I realized I only liked Keef for Young Chop's instrumentals. I'd way rather hear someone with ability and consciousness spit over his instrumentals, for example:

I really started to enjoy Chop, his synths and snares especially. Very different from what people have been doing recently, and has spawned a bunch of imitators of late.

Also Keef's other redeemable feature is that he put on the entire city of Chicago, and indirectly shed light on the violence that goes on in the city, regardless of whether or not his music is contributing to the crime rate. He's also a quite the power broker and can bring almost anyone he wants into the limelight. A lot of artists were discovered and made their way out of the hood because of him.

My final opinion, he's not great, and sometimes he's terrible, but he's filled a role that nobody else can.
