and WHY NOT UNR!?!?!? Session on Cain hall rail. Things already perfect for a rail jam.

hey slaughter, you guys should totally do one of those at UNR, I'm pretty sure the turn out would be bigger just cause so many of us go to UNR and ride at b-real... I'd throw down for sure, and so would every one else who goes there... it would be sick.
 
This is something the Chico Ski and Board Club is putting on, I am just helping them promote it, and Boreal is providing some features for the event.

I agree that we should do something in Reno, it is our market, and way closer to home than Chico. Fritz's has offered us their location to do something, so maybe next fall we can throw an event together. I can't do it this spring, I am worn out from all the events we have been doing this season, and we still have photo shoots.

Any Reno newschoolers that would be interested in competing or helping put on a rail jam next fall, let me know and we can begin to get the ball rolling.
 
wurd, lets start talking to some potential sponsors and I will start doing some work on my end, so we can make this happen.
 
you can store any potential jibs you want to use at my house which is right next to campus and has a large back yard with plenty of storage room.
 
I have a legit question:

What kinda jibs are going to be available at the Craig Hall rail Jam? Is it going to only be the Chico Snow club box? cause that thing isnt all that great. is Boreal bringing up some of their jibs?
 
reno is a hole. id agree chico is a better town. Reno is full of broken people, just seems like alot of that town just gave up. But it is close to tahoe which is nice but you'd never find me there.
 
Some of it's shit, but it is getting better. If the whole revitilization process goes as planned, Reno will be one of the coolest cities.
 
R U Being Cereal like breakfast?!?!??! you must hate fun. and by broke you must be speaking of arrow creak or one of those other shit areas of reno.....those don't count PSYCHE!
 
we are sending down one flat box and a house box, I believe. But they are also putting together a couple of thier own features. They are using a scaffolding drop-in. Sounds like the should be legit. Red Bull helping with this venture, and those guys usually ensure goodtimes.
 
If chico was much closer to here as it is from tahoe, I'd so do this... but, its in fact further than tahoe from where I am, I must say I wont be attending.

That, and Chico is a hellhole town... Not that Reno is any better...

Oh well, the world sucks, doesnt it?
 
OK, got some info. THere will be a down rail coming off the scaffolding. The jam is open, and registration is at 10:30.

This event is open to skiers and boarders.
 
I was there but I didnt ski but it was sweet, and a lot of improvement from previous years. I also got to drink a lot of Redbull so thats cool
 
fairley well, they have a flat down box next to a down bar, and then a long flat box at the bottom that lacked in speed, but if you neglected the initial two features, you could hit it. The scafulding was pretty legit too, but I heard it bunked you a bit. my bro tried a backflip and almost died, and I left after that, so I didnt see what else went down.
