Im taking a roadtrip from Chicago to Toronto for a week, with no plan whatso ever.

so

does any body have any ideas fro things to do on thw ay there or while in toronto

++karma for good suggestions

my thoughts exactly on the jays game. there is a big concert at downsview park on friday the 8th if you like metal, it's the mayhem festival and i'm sure there are still tickets available. and if your of age, find some bars?

toronto- hockey hall of fame is pretty cool and just do touristy things, its a pretty sick city

chicago- go to a cubbies game and sit in the outfield. cheaper booze cheaper food and everyone out there is hammered and funny

not sure if it would interest you, but the toronto science center is really really cool. the eaton center is a really cool mall too.

Jays game, queen west, clubbing, Eaton Center,

dont try to find ski shops, but if you do, you'll be paying alot.

Science Centre

Royal Ontario Museum

Drive along the Gardiner Express Way looking over the city at night

Rent a bike, take the ferry to the islands and cruise around for a while (http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island/)

Tuesday Nights there are free movies outside at Dundas square (north end of the Eaton Centre). They haven't been that great this summer though

theres alot of good stuff to do in toronto, i live there right now and i can poke a couple suggestions your way:

- younge street is good to walk up, theres lots of sketchy little shops and tonnes of whackjobs to stare at

- queen street is the best place to shop, theres tonnes of great skate style shops and trendy little boutiques to go into, much music is also at the corner of queen and john so you might want to look into getting tickets to that before you come up, they have stuff going on constantly

- theres some really good sneaker boutiques just south of queen and spadina around spadina and richmond, ones called livestock the other is goodfoot, if thats your jam

- bloor street is also a really great place to go, between university and younge is the very trendy high end places to shop, and near that is U of T campus, which is extremely nice to walk through in the summer, probably nicest campus ive ever been on

- harbourfront is allways cool, they constantly have events going on

thats about all i can think of right now

good luck with that

if you are in toronto around the weekend of the 8 9 10 all you need to know is :

Taste of the Danforth-best food festival in TO
