Chestnut or sunburst?

Man with your attitude youll be lucky if anyone at which ever hill you choose to ski at wants to ride with you.

umm since i could walk?and your right i do like alpine, and your right i do live right there.but im not a dumb mother fucker.my friend josh who rides at alpine, has been skiing the same amount of time as you and can already throw 9s, 7s, switch 5s, 270 on, switch up, and a bunch more. so dont use that excuse.like i said before youd be better if youd hit the stuff and not bitch as much.

im glad we all aren't fighting about wilmots park. why are you guys bitching anyways. be happy you have something to ride. terrain parks aren't all ways going to be the way you want them. I have always had fun at alpine and sunburst just make the best out of it.

o guess agreeing with someone is now considering dangling. i didnt kno that, so i guess i dangle off everyone i every agree with. and thats funny how were talking about dangling. when you dangle off some fatass kid that has absolutely no fucking friends in the whole school. ive never met someone the whole school hated on. cuz all you do is smoke his weed. u poor fuckin loser. and japandas right. with that fuckin attitude ill be surprised if anyone will ski with you. you think billy will ski with ou with that attitude. good luck. yuove been a complete ass latelty. what happend to the old jt that loved skiing for what it was? and made all the best of it because of skiing and not for what its made of. you went to coc this year and now your excepting a park like it?? impossible. we live in the midwest. i feel grattitude for even having parks with the kind of land and snow conditions we have around here. and even though ive never worked park crew. i feel there pain. they wanna ski and board as much as we do. but they cant because they need to service our needs. and the snow isnt always easy to fix cuz of all our icy conditions and what not. i see them some out every couple of hours and fix the jumps. what else do you want from them? do you want them to cater your food for you too? get your shit together.

and i'm sorry for bagging on you like that, your one of my best buds, but you've been acting gay as hell lately. if you wanna go to sunburst sure. but you shouldnt rip on the park crews. especialy alpine's. and yeah i agree with some things. alpine can use alittle work. but what park doesnt. and im sure there doing everything they can to fix it. and im goin to sunburst a shitload this year also. and alpine's park. but im guna make do of what i have and enjoy that shit to the fullist.

with the amount of work and time they put into the parks to make them as good as they can they dont deserve it. its the midwest, the parks will not be like keystone or breck, so they should just be happy with what they got. they should be lucky they even get a park.

haha word, although wilmot's park was suprisingly sick last year...you killed it with the rails!!!
This thread quickly escalated from something plain and simple into a fully flared attack thread on alpine, I had the chance to ride alpine a few times last season and I have to say it was pretty dope...good rails and the jumps were pretty solid, hopefully I will be able to head up a few more times this season.

yo jordan, im not tryin to bitch at u here but dude 1. its kinda hard to build perfect jumps without enough snow to mess around. the amount of snow it take to make just a landing for a jump (everything but the kicker) is enough snow for pretty much an entire run at wilmot. 2. the guys that build the park have the potential to build better things but it isnt up to them, its up to the old guys that run the place.

This is supposed to be the coldest winter ever in chicago. itll keep getting better.

Marquette is the exception to the rule. They always have the best imo park. Then again they have a huge hill to work with, and they not only get a good amount of natural snow and cold temps, they have a great snowmaking program. Goes to show what can be done when you make having a good park a priority.

so much arguing it insane. why not just state your case and let the kid decide from what he hears. just say what you like or dislike about each place and then the OP will decide what he likes.

People have already stated their like and dislikes, its just turned into a bashing thread. He has all the info he could need. He seems to think that alpine is shit, so that place is outta the question, now its between SB and the Nut. My guess is that the SB pass is cheaper.

i read the whole thing and this shit is FUNNY! this kid is gonna have no ski friends this winter. haha

Wilmot was pretty dope this year(thank you ian!) alls i ask for is some better jumps! PLEASE!

i've skied sundown my whole life but i'm sick of getting yelled at for trying to progress. i'll be riding chestunt this year, i heard their groomer got some professional certification to build parks so it should be legit

^^^haha jake, mike and ben shredding chestnut

here are some of the jumps from SB, theyre decent

The guy who pushes the park at CHESTNUT went to cutterscamp this summer so they can show the insurance company that he has had professional training. Late February they build an amazing park on the river side, worth driving to. dont go to sundown iowa, i am on the parkcrew and our managment sucks. just moved to dubuque last year and chestnut is """SOMETIMES"" better than major resort parks hands down! not many skiers throwing down either.

ryan id have to agree with him... somtimes it was perfect but alot of times i went to alpine there was ice, and be holes after rails and the jumps were messed up . only two times that i went there it was perfect the other times it sucked. i mean when its good its deff reallly fun. but a 500$ season pass is quite pricy , if your a rail guy wilmot is were its at for southern wisco.

its the midwest ice will occur. every hill will get the bomb holes after boxes

i really dont care anymore. i have keystone and breck to ski this year.

but on a side note. alpine got a bunch of funding this year.

and 686 might be sponsering alpines park as well.

and chris (guy who runs the cat) went to disney world and came back a changed man, and has approved stuff that has been denied the last few years.

so from what i hear it will be a big change.

when i get more info i will let you all know.

i do agree with you igor in the pass price. but i think its like 430 right now. goes up to 480 in december.

but with a season from thanksgiving to march, its pretty decent for wisconsin. and with the amount of runs and the 2 high speed quads its a good deal i suppose but think it should be cheaper.

Chestnut has the best park even though it can get real old real fast, I'd say get the pass at chestnut, then pm someone who skis out there all the time like KyleG, Jamerican, or myself before you go out. Park is better with other NS'ers
