Who's down for doin some water skippin across chester. I just drove by there today and it's lookin perfect. No ice in the open water part, run-in is still intact. I'm going the next desent day we have.
 
tight. we should do some grilling out there too. and maybe a contest, first one to make it across switch gets something.
 
first one to do it switch will get........WET b/c your going to fall before you do it, ahha
 
switch is not bad over that thing. I up for some water skipping sometime. When would people want to do it?
 
I beg to differ. but it looks like sun/mon are going to be the next 'nice' days. Last year some friends of mine put up a couple of jib lines up at chester. I hope they do it again.
 
We (Skier Monday, etc.) did it last year and it was super fun. Wayne went for it switch and ate shit. It wouldn't have been so bad but there was a huge sheet of ice under the water and he detroyed his elbow on it. Horner (DM_Rider) used to have an edit he put together from it. I dunno if he still does but you can see his fall on there. Also you can see Otto (the Italian foreign exchange student wading around because his ski came off and washed under the left over ice. We didn't find it until like a month later!
 
I like that edit, Wanye and I tried the sled a few years back, but the sled was too small and we flipped back, that water is so cold...
 
I have a grill. It may not be the best time to grill though, seeing that we may be wet and cold. But if people want me to bring it I will.

Oh and yeah Daveb, it's not bad. i did it three years back and it was easy with speed.
 
well, i guess the plus side is that we know the snow isn't melting. and there's snow in the forcast for tomorrow and wed.
 
alright. so tomorrow at 3:00 it's going down. Should be a slew of people. someone should bring a grill, if they have one. should be a really nice day too.
 
no dr_dogg had a real good chance but he had to pull up and stop because he was going to run into my back.

chris and evan got really close too.
