Chemistry Research Project! Ideas please!!

I just remembered that I need a thesis for a research project for my an upper highschool chemistry class and the only ideas that I can think of are kind of stereotypical gayness.

So, when all else fails, NSG!!

Any one have ideas for a semester-long research project?

i am thinking about comparing the amounts of caffeine in different sodas/energy drinks.

we had projects for our final last year, we did topics like how does a lava lamp work, how does superglue work, why doesnt it dry up in the bottle (lol), how soap is made, all about nukes, etc etc

i've got one for you. Do the effect of different oxidizers on tetrachloroethene (i.e. time for complete reduction would be a good place to start). tetrachloroethene (or perchloroethene [pce]) is a common dry cleaning solvent and is found EVERYWHERE. very pertinent to current EPA projects. I'm a chemist working on this right now in Montana.
