+++Karma for whoever can help me...i need this for a lab that determines my quarter grade and i have no idea how to balance

Na2CO3 +HC2H3O2 ---> CO2 + H2O + NaCl

ummm this doesnt make any sense cuz the product of NaCl. where did the Cl come from lol??

Na2CO3 +HC2H3O2 ---> CO2 + H2O + NaCl

Doesn't make any sense. Maybe your teacher copied it down wrong or you did.

You can't have a product of Sodium Chloride without chlorine ever being in the equation in the first place.

just say

"this equation cannot be balanced due to the fact that a female teacher made it up"

if youre teacher is not a woman, say

"this equation cannot be balanced because a snowboarder took my chlorine from the reactants
