No. There are people that actually think like this. Some of them are even elected officials. about 50% of this country doesn't believe in evolution. its an embarrassment.

This video is fucking hilarious! "Monkeys dont live millions of years." How stupid are you!? Do you not understand the basics of evolution? One of the main ideas behind evolutions is that mutation occurs from one generation to another. Also the claim that Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) isn't in our bodies is absurd! This is a fact!
 
this pretty much, i am very religious, i dont think that evolution is real or not real and i think it is totally up for debate whether or not it is real.

I like religion for the morals it preaches.

basically my religion tells me to be a good person. It also tells me some old guy jumped on a boat with 120000 animals and the entire world was covered in water for 40 days. Do i believe this?

of course not, but i do believe that you should love your neighbor as yourself. unfortunately most people overlook the most important parts of religion.

even islam can be seen as a beautiful religion, the only problem is they're not allowed to masturbate.... now can you blame them for blowing shit up? you'de be pissed too...

the extremists will always ruin it but just a little religion combined with science makes a healthy mix.

Science doesn't claim evolution to be absolutely true because it doesn't claim anything to be absolutely true, even gravity. It's simply the theory with the most evidence, that fits with our views of the way the world works that have been tested and tested against with generally consistent observations supporting the theory. Science also doesn't claim to be able to explain anything outside of the natural world, and assumes that there is a logical explanation for everything. Basically if you don't believe in evolution fuck you why do you trust that medicine that you've never taken works.
 
Why believe half when you don't believe the other? I mean it makes sense to me to live morally, but if I was reading a math text book that gave half wrong answers I would throw that shit out and not believe any of it. That being said I totally respect that people need religion or enjoy it, I can totally see why. I also hate when people generalize about it, and especiallllyyyy when they are terribly racist towards islamic people. It's bullshit.
