damn dude. very sick. i remember seeing a kid a long time ago with the og elizabeths and thinking they were so sweet. those first two years graphics are some of my all time favorite for sure.
I got the original castle n dragon and love them. I remember when I first got them (pre-ski industry going off their skinny ski diets) people at my local resort were like, "what the fuck is a butter knife doing on your feet kid?" I know cool story bro, but I love that ski. Jealous but stoked for your collection!
bacons before 2010 measure out to 178 and are just a little bit stiffer than lizzys (but if the kid is tall enough it probably means he weighs enough for this not to matter) they have similar dimensions as well
question while we're on topic. i'm 6'2" 175 lbs would the lizzy be too small for me? for the occasional east coast pow day, no huge cliffs or anything.
I have the originals and still ride them a couple days each year. I'll never sell or give up those skis ever. One of the most original ski designs ever. Should have never been dropped.
Also, it's amazing that you've collected every pair of Elizabeths I think ski collecting is really cool idea and I'd consider it down the road. You figure people collect anything, why not skis. Maybe when we're in our 50s we'll try to track down all of skis we've had when we were young or the iconic skis of our generation.
