hey guys, for the last 3 years me and some friends have been putting together a movie of our season. this past year we were able to film at some amaing places such as fernie, cop, sunshine, big white, silverstar, cardrona, whistler and snow park.

we have a really good little crew consisting of guys based out of either calgary or edmonton. riders this year include (me ) ben gerwing, yves poitras, ryan sanborn, jason bailer, brett and brad perron, sash lazic, noah bowman, ryan waddell, wes harris, stu billodeau, sandy boville and rob heule

we just film for fun and our good buddy kyle sanborn is our dedicated filmer. we have no budget, just our own money from trips and filming, other than that, check out our movie and i hope you enjoy it, its pretty short, only about 15 mins, so its an easy movie to watch and i hope it gets you stoked to go riding!

enjoy: http://vimeo.com/2402392

That was sick, I really enjoyed that. Filming was amazing, shots looked awesome.
However, I have to say I am not a fan of Stu. I was competing with him and he was being such a tool lol, he wouldn't talk to anyone, just sat there and acted all hardcore and aloof. Not cool Stu, not cool.
Who was on the S5s and where did he mount them? I'm trying to decide where I want to mount mine, I just got them on the weekend.

thats too bad that u had a bad experience with stu, hes a really good guy

and wes harris is on the s5's and i think he has them mounted center cause he used them for park, but wes if u read this can u clear that up

Yeah, that would be much appreciated.
As for Stu, I definitely won't be too critical from that one time, I was just really unimpressed from it though haha. I'll probably see him again at the big air at Pano, so we'll see how that goes.
If you can read this though, let me know where you mounted your S5s, and how you liked them.

My S5's are mounted true center for park use only. Skiing them other places with a center mount is not as much fun, especially because you don't see me cornholing switch in the pow (because switch in pow is slow and not as much fun...my opinion). If you want a happy medium mount the skis in the modern stance. It is easier for park and doesn't make the ski overly turny like a center mount does so riding forwards in other places is a lot better. As for stu, what did you expect him to be like in a competition? Competition is serious and stu, like myself, likes to listen to music and get into the zone so that he can win. Winning is the point right? Competitions are not social events so don't expect people to be all nice during them. In other words, you are not cool for calling him out on that one...not cool at all.

I like when Ben talks about skiing pow and making a big mountain movie, never mind. I chortled.

I was impressed with skiing and filming so sick.

I really liked that. Iliked the whole idea about a big mountain movie, then just no. It really doesn't snow enough around here haha

haha ya we were having some fun with that when we were editing

in the original version ryan and kyle say thier parts and then i jump in and say " hey did u hear the one about the guys that tried to make a big mountain movie..... IT SUCKED!!!! lets hit the park!!!'

hahahaha, i thought that it was way better haha o well

u missed the best part then, all the good shots are after the pow stuff, we just threw that in cause it was a crazy pow day

haha, the closing shot of you guys bombing down from the divide chair, i do the same thing all the time.

pretty dope stuff, i'm gonna download it.
