turbo is better if you plan on doing cams RR lifters ect. Also they are a lot cheaper and more realiable. The turbo lag thing you are talking about is only evident in new untuned cars. My shop teach has a TT 4.7 SVT and it got a custom tune along with a turbo timer and it has no lag whatsoever, and it delivers the low and high range power, wheras a SC is mainly low end power.

the reason i mentioned it is because i was on the metro yesterday and it stopped at a light. i glance to the right and see a sweet black M roadster. its so small and sleek. i couldnt pull my eyes off that beauty

My brother has that car, wow it one fast little fucker he got some sort of chip that gets rid of the governer, he thinks it will hit 160, he has only gotten up to 150 before he had to slow down, I guess traffic got in the way..

 
yeha and the same with a SC too, but with the proper tune it is barly noticable. plus if you know how to race you know when to drop the clutch, ect.
