Check out an Animation I've made!!

So, after watching tons of animations and finding them simply amazing I decided I wanted to see if I could do one myself.

I've never done anything like this before so it was a learning experience and I'm sure I did many things wrong but got to start somewhere I guess and I'm really proud of it, haha. A lot of the vid was done purely improvised as I went along.

Its only a short vid - but took ages to do - so give it a look and let me know what you think!

that was pretty sweet actually, kept me entertained the whole time, animation is like a whole new world to me so props on that

Dope! Maybe do some scene changes. Like zoom in on the volcano when he is corking himself up or something. to show his expression.

Thanks guys!

How do you mean change angles? Just zooming in or changing the angle completely like 45 degree to the side angle? I think if i did that I would have to change it for a lot of the scenes as just one may throw you off..? May try something like that if I do another one

Yeah I am just saying mix it up. rather than a static shot. Seems less real now and just a scene. Get the viewer involved in it

This. I feel like a typical thing to do would be zoom in quickly while he's grabbing the cork then zoom back out, quickly again, after he puts it on. But that was sick, that must have been a lot of work. What program?

Thanks! I used illustrator to draw everything out then put it into after effects to animate. Not 100% sure if thats the right way to do it, but was just trying different things out.

I get the movements now, when I get time il have to play around with it a bit more. Maybe even try a new animation with these aspects, so if anyone has any thoughts on a fun idea, throw it in!

Awesome! I used to make flash animations with my friends WAAAAY back when we were like 15 or so. What program did you make this in?

Awesome man, if you still got any post them up! I used illustrator to draw everything out then moved it into after effects to animate it all.

Forgot to add to DrZoidberg yea it took time, more so then all the other edits ive done. But this was also a learning experience with both programs so maybe it will be quicker next time, although there is so much more you can learn.
