Cheating the Canada Boater Exam??

holy jesus hahahaha. thats alot of horsepower to control with a little handle.

ive got a 19 foot whaler with a 75 and hydraulic steering, i havent taken it fishing much recently, but used to a lot more in the past. that and a little 10 foot zodiac with a 9.9 to get to and from friends houses.

whalers are hands down one of the best boats for rough water out there. love charging through whatever and not giving a fuck haha

acylrually the law just says you need a properly fitted pfd on board for each passenger and driver, you don't actually need to be wearing them

exactly, therefore in the event of a flipped vessel, the first thing you do is put on your life jacket.

ipso facto, cool_name is talking out of his ass

no, he said a bullshit question on the boater exam was what is the first thing you do if your boat flips, to which the right answer is put on your lifejacket, which he said should have been radio coastguard because that makes more sense and given that it was multiple choice, that it was the best possible answer out of the given options.

it depends what i am doing, in my buddy's nautique or my whaler, no. in a zodiac, ill have one arm through it since its usually no more than a 5-10 minute ride from house a to house b

oh haha yeah clearly wrong, cause the radio would be, well underwater. and they arent standard equipment anyway.

which model whaler do you have? zodiacs are a lot of fun too, fast

i dont remember off the top of my head, ill take a look when i get home. its an older hull, like 1999 or something like that

similar to this hull but a few years older:

I missed your last post when you already answered me. I've never been in a whaler personally but on some of the bigger lakes up north I've seen them in 4 maybe 5 foot white caps on windy days like it's nothing, a little harder and sketchier with an aluminium fishing boat, proper trim key, too high and the boat won't plain out, too low and it nose dives through the waves.

soooo much fun to go charge waves haha. where i live there generally arent any waves bigger than maybe 3-4 foot whitecaps at most, but its a pretty ridiculously protected area. most of the waves we get are from bigger boats hauling up the indian arm. theres been very few times that i have had to slow down too much for fear of hitting anything too hard, its fantastic haha.

You idiot, its so easy. You can cheat the test by doing it online... just get a friend to supervise you and then use the internet!!!!
