What is thecheapest ski out ont he market. I am not talking pricewise, but strictly wear and tear. What skis will hold up under the harsest conditions. I have heard that dynastar is basically the worst twintip out there for durability. What is the lowdown on this?

any dyanastar made earlier than this year is a gamble, this year's are holding up pretty well from experience and what i've heard

Dynastar is no-where near the worst. In decending order of shitness, here are some examples.

Dogens

Fujis

Any Liberty

Thrusters/Flyers

Any Line apart from prophets

my freind snapped his scratch fs wrs's doing a switch butter on to a box. in the end i just guess its how hard you ride.

i've broken a few k2s, seen a lot of rossis break. Delammed some head mad trix a few years ago on my second day skiing on them. Still have two pairs of the grey line mothership titaniums. Might not last too much longer, but they have been great.

i had two pairs og dynastars, the last pair were candides. The skis kind of suck, but besides one of the world's largest coreshots, they held up really well.

i think invaders are the worst. they delam like crazy. my older 03-04 1080's hold up great, and most armadas are good, except the topsheets. dynastars edges do suck.

Last years invaders are pretty shitty skis. They are some of the funnest skis you can ride though. Mine worked fine for one season but this season my edges started falling off on the tips and the tails, and the base starts to fall apart.

Why is everyone saying k2, I mean the PE's and fuji's hold up pretty darn well. I imagine people break fuji's because of their noodle-like qualities, but if you ride that hard, they aren't really for you.

Also they aren't huge performers, but that's completely diff. than what this dude's talking about.

liberty you are gaurrented skis for life cause when you buy them they are alreay broke even ask panzieman he will give you a good lecture about liberty skis

i say k2s are solid as, but i dont think the PE rides as well now as it did originally (back when it was 80 not 85 at the waist).

for a cheap ski, fujis seem pretty solid too.

The only broken K2s I have heard about or seen personally have been by a skiier who goes huge and stomps the shit out of his tricks. Otherwise, they seem to be the most bomber skis on the market.

No clue since when dynastar became undurable. Mine from last year have yet to have anything but topsheet chips. The base seems to get hurt easily but ragardless they've held up amazing for 60+ days. I think they lost some pop but I can't remember since they started as my first twintip, I couldn't even 180 flat back then let alone a rail so no clue how they popped before.

i say that you cant really get a real answer for this. k2s go great for some people but terrible for others thats goes the same for every other brand. it really matters more of the person actually skiing rather than the ski.

Compairing the Fujitives to the invaders, the fujitives are extremely bombproof, I still have my 05/06 that I have been riding pretty hard and they are still holding up, though the edges are destroyed and peeling away and I think I cracked a core and I'm sensing a tip delam, but c'mon, they were only like 100 bones proformed. Well worth the money.

for lines...it all depends. stay away from last years invaders, but it seems like this years have been fixed. chronics are bomber, prophet series stuff is very nice too. as for older, 1260s are alright, but i wouldn't recommend for a skier who's heavier. the old mother ships and pro models are all pretty good.

this year's mojos are significantly softer than the 2x4s they used to be. oh and my cheapest ski would have to be the fuji's, with them getting a little better for this years.
