As title suggests, what is the least expensive item you've bought that you are always out there with?

For me it's an old pair of Solly poles I grabbed from a ski swap for $2.

bought some $60 salomon suspect rld skis just for the og sth16 steel bindings mounted and the skis are indestructible use them all the time

This will be hard to beat because it’s free.

My Dad’s white turtle neck. I chopped off the neck and cut thumb holes at the cuffs. It’s ugly but it’s about function and my tall t always go over the top. I’ve been wearing that thing for 10+ years.

I got a pair of Sorel Caribou boots that were basically brand new at Value Village for 30 bucks. I can’t remember the last time my feet were cold

Would like to add to this - (2) $1.30 Walmart shoelaces tied together to make suspenders. Keeps my snow pants sagging since I can’t put a belt around my knees.

x2 on this, except I don’t sag crazy I just don’t like wearing a belt and my pants fall down on any downward impact. Even used the shoelaces off some old shoes.

How do you do it

I found a really thin facetube for $10 and its got a bunch of Stealies all over it and I wear it every day for riding my bike and for skiing. Haven't been able to find another Grateful Dead themed facetube that's as thin and seamless.

A $8 folding boxcutter for when I get a big coreshot and need to trim off some plastic.

Cat Crap anti-fog

Chapstick

DryGuy travel boot dryer. I hate wet stinky boots. I put it in my boots, plug it in, next morning the boots are dry warm and cozy.

I just tie both shoe laces from the back middle buckle hoop to the front left and right buckle hoops of my ski pants.

Gonna give it a shot belts suck

Poles were 2.99 at a thrift store, kinco gloves I stole from my dads garages, CB sports jacket I found in the basement. And a $10 pair of northface ski pants I got at a gear swap.
