Cheapest place to stay in Jackson Hole, Wyoming? (locals please)

Hey all.

I've decided to go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for my reading week. I'm wondering... are there any locals that know where the cheapest place to stay is? I don't need anything ritzy. Pretty much a bed with a locking room.

So far the cheapest i've found is the Super 8 motel. Something like 600-700 USD for 6 days / 6 nights skiing. (lift tickets included, single room).

Included in this is cost effectivness for everything else, obviously. Ie getting to the mountain from where i'd be staying, that sort of thing. I don't have a car- i'd be transfering from the airport. Thanks for your help!

 
Hostel x 50 bucks a night for 2 people and its right at the base of the tram....O wait im not a local so I guess my advice isnt good. Go spend twice that much.

 
Yup motel 6 is the cheapest, done it before.

umm i aint a local either, but i got 7 days lodging and 5 days of skiing for like 550 but thats based on 4 people going in on the package its a good deal
 
Lirteraly you're wrong. Like i said over a year ago, motel 6, super 8 very cheap, im sure this doesnt matter anymore im guessing you went on the trip already, but for anyone else, super 8 or motel 6.
