Cheapest place to buy macbook pro?

I want to step up to a 15" mac book pro. Preferably the non retna because I want to still have a dvd drive. Does anyone have some legit sites that have them for a good price. Best buy has them but the price of 1800 seems too steep for older technology. So if anyone else knows of a good website that sells NEW macs please let me know.

Before you say Google it, I have already done that, and the cheaper ones are on the sketchy websites that I would rather not deal with unless someone else has experience.

I'm sorry, but hackintoshing a computer is not a "you can easily do it" processes. Also, all apple laptops are build 100 times better than MOST other windows laptop. If you want a shitty plastic 100lb laptop, go for it.

To the OP, check out mac refurb shit on their site. Another option is ebay/craigslist/ns/dvxuser/other site to buy a used one.

im in the same situation right now. i would definitely go right through apples website, seems like the best deal, just cant decide if its worth paying 300 more for a 15 vs a 13 for a little over a g.

Depends on what you're doing. If you plan on doing any kind of photo/video/graphics on your computer, get the 15. If you're just gonna do school shit, internet, music, get the 13.
