I just bought a big bad vinyl cutter, 2 feet wide. If you want some stickers made let me know, I'll hook you up with a sweet price. Vinyl stickers are way better than cheap looking printed ones.

it cuts vinyl, single color, images are like a stencil, but you can have floating areas. Send me a single color design, tell me how big you want it, how many you want, and what color you want it in. Then bam you have a sweet ass vinyl stickers.

the cutter is run by a computer, it's very percise. It looks as good as the best vinyl you've ever seen. The width of the vinyl is 2 feet, it can go as long as you want. The cost is 7 bucks a foot long by two feet wide. The minimun order I'll do is 3 feet long.

its called a 'ploter'. for a stencil you could just do the outline of the image on vinyl and you could then spray paint the inside(where you cut the vinyl) of the vinyl.

My dads company has a 5 foot wide full colour sticker maker, I like his beter then yours.

it aint hard to make your own stencils, i made a sweet one from a picture of Jon jibbing a rail. but a sticker cutter, now that sounds sweet

I would think just glue it to a thicker or hard surface and cut of the areas u want painted!!

All i did was:

1) trace the outline of your picture with some tracing paper (ie baking paper)

2) go around the outline on a piece of card (like the ones you use to file stuff with)

3) go over the imprint with a pen

4) use a stanley knife to cut around that.

Its only basic but it worked ok for a first attempt. I know there is a way of getting a better more complicated outline using Photoshop and also using acetate but check out www.stencilrevolution.com they have all the answers there if you look hard enough. Heap of stuff on stencils, stickers, screen printing etc..
