im trying to find one for under 100, just somthing to ride around town with, dosnt have to be extremly nice just rideable. im sick of sifting through pages of mongoose mountain bikes on craigslist -_____-

make your own single speed or fixie. cheapest and simplest bikes on the planet and you can customize everything for yourself
 
How long would that take/ cost. And whats the point of a fixie? Should I jump on a old schwenn varsity 10 speed from the 70's for 100$?!
 
I'll sell you my vintage 80's single speed Schwinn Sprinter roadie for $100. that's what i paid for it. i just put new brakes/cabling on it, new chain, and converted it to single speed. super fun vintage bike, i just need to tru the rear wheel.
 
community cycles is cool. even though you bought a bike already. ive found some awesome shit there. pretty hit or miss though. 15 hours for a bike is ok by me though
