Cheap places to stay in whistler?

im going to be up there in about a week. Is there any hotels or hostels that are cheaper than the normal $300-$500 room rates per night? there will probably be 3 to 4 people and would be staying the 10th - the 13th.
 
sorry, but theres hardly a chance in hell of findind a place here, Whistlers never been no busy and in need of housing, it sucks.
