Cheap music downloads

Hey do any of you guys know a cheaper way to download music than iTunes? i had lymewire for a year but i can't download music for free because my rents deleted it.
 
i use limewire i think its the best but soul seek is good too i hear. why dont you just re-download limewire? if you have good anti-virus you won't get any from it
 
is it because they don't like you downloading free music or because they think you will use it for porn.

downloading in canada is still legal by the way..
 
a really safe way, but quite complicated, it joining a sharing newsgroup. Most ppl don't know about it, but once bittorents get caught and cancelled, this will be the new thing.
 
^ newsgroups have been around for about 15 years now and was pretty much the original source for porn online. i'm just pissed when i grab a zip full of jenna jameson and it turns out to be dogs fucking some fat swede - of course the same thing happens on limewire i guess.
 
say limewire is "sharing" which it is but they obviously dont understand. Redownload it and maybe u can get Universal Shield (can hide programs files and folders like that) and maybe u can make a hotkey to make limewire appear!
 
baaahahahha that sucks that u cant use limewire an have to pay for yer music damn...just get a friend to dl all the music u want on there computer so u dont get in trouble..

its really not that hard to understand. if you read the fineprint on most of the sites that are like .10 for a song, they say they are legal in their local country but in other countries they may not be. I saw a whole thing about it on tech tv. pretty much you wont find anything legal for less the .99 a song. the riaa requires a certian amount of $ from its vendors.
 
i had lime wire and was pissed off from all the "get lime wire pro" and "it costs money to make this software" so i downloaded limewire pro from lime wire. it works better and i dont feel bad everytime i open it, even though i should
 
lol i meant that I didn't know there was anything "illegal" about downloading music. sheesh. you mean to say people actually pay for music?
 
not really, i just share random shit that nobody wants (about 5 gigs) then just go down the list and connect to like 15 servers...do this in passive mode. then i search for whatever song i want (check the box that says only search those with slots avail) and thats it. it blows my mind as to how much of an untapped resource this is. plus the downloads are freakishly fast. only also only download from foreign servers, not the US servers.
 
you sure told him. If he ever notices this thread is bumped, i'm sure he'll be very embarrassed.
