Cheap Great Bindings???

Marler? Did you mean marker? Only if you want to get hurt. Just get some px12 jibs on clearance. I'll never set foot on marker bindings. They're junk.

I'm assuming your friend has had one bad experience with them now your writing the whole comapny off due to that? Marker make sick bindings, I and most of my mates ride them and they hold up great.

Px12's are great bindings at a really good price. I have them on all my skis and i have never had problems with them

.

Marker bindings blow.

I'd love to rock the setup of FD outerwear, marker bindings, and salomon skis and see which is the first to break.

what din range are you looking for? guessing pretty low

rossignol freeski2 10 (10 DIN)

look/dynastar px12 (12 DIN)

if youre looking for something with a 15 DIN, make a want to buy thread looking for used fks 155s. most of this site will agree that they are the best bindings.

Salomon 997, the yellow 14 DIN version. Watch eBay, you should get some for $20-30 during summer.

Marker M11's use the old Biometric toe piece which is prone to premature release cuz it releases all spring tension once tourque is reached. long story short, put too much torque on it landing a spin and out ya go. thats why they switched to the new Royal Fam series of bindings. No one likes premature release.

I've always liked rossi and salomon, and in my experience i find salomons are easier to get into if you are say, hiking in soft snow and cant put as much pressure on the heel when youre stepping in. sometimes with look/rossi/dynastar bindings you have to lift the heel peice up to help yourself int them.

look for sales. ebay can be sketch, especially with bindings. these are your knees we're talking about. PX12 or Salomon STH 14driver are good choices.

heel piece is a much better design, and the px toe piece has a sliding plastic piece for a smoother release

nova/nx series:

the nova bindings are typically recommended for beginner/intermediate skiers (also more or a junior or lightweight skier) while the px series is designed for intermediate/advanced skiers.

some useful things to know would be age, skier ability, din, and what youre mounting them on
