Cheap camera

Im looking to buy a camcorder that is not much more than $200 (I am a tight budget) but I dont want to get something that absolutely sucks and has terrible quality. What is the best camera in that price range that'll be able to capture clear images of skiing? Nothing professional where i will be releasing DVDs, but something to capture footage from the year?

ive always liked panasonics ive never used the cheaper models but if you could find some extra money and do a little online looking you can find that $500 model pretty cheap these days and the colors are just incredible. those models are also pretty small so they are good for taking skiing
