Charley ager

ahh i kno, i've watched journal like a million timesss .. hes dope in that

i can't wait to see everyday is a saturday tho!!!

Ok, I had to get myself an account just to say how much I admire Charley. Not only his attitude and his friendly refusal to hop on the "$$blingbling$$"-train, but also the way he gets his jumps down. Not this super-steezy "oh yeah, that looked so smooth and easy"-way of hiding your fight with the hill and your own body, but he just pins it down, no matter how sketchy it might look. You really see the effort he puts in these switched landings.

Great choice of music btw for his segment in Every Day is a Saturday. But it fits. Zion I is not part of this commercial gangsta shit but makes decent music with regard to the fans. Just like Charley does his work to contribute to freeskiing all over the planet.

this for reals. theres people who are 17 who have an awesome image but cant do all of the same tricks. companys want people who kids will look up to and say "wow that kids good. woah look at his skis" and then they will go home and buy them. and because of that they get more money. companys really dont look at skill as much as image nowadays. please dont make the asumption that im saying pros suck.

I get sick of seeing nothing but rails and park jumps in ski vids. Charley skis so hard and stick huge airs landing fakie in shit terrain... he's a wicked skiing. My fave segment in EDIS was his.

Charley had one of the most inspirational segments of the year, that guy can land anything backwards and with more style then he knows what to do with. I could watch the him all day and never get bored. The big mountain guys just dont get the love they deserve. The lines they drop are insane and it takes balls to throw down. Props to Charley for paying his own way, he will never give up.

personally I think that Charley could get some contract deals, cause look at us right now, were starting to notice who this guy is and how hard he throws down. I love his style, and honestly, I want to go buy some Hellbents after watching EDIAS cause he made them look like th most fun sticks ever. I think he would be a great addition to the Nimbus crew as well, but that's up to the crew. Overall I think if he continues to push it and we take notice, Charley will get the respect and payment he deserves.

The companies that he represents should recognize. I have heard he does not make much to ski, barely any! He pushes it so hard, trying to take his skiing to new levels, and I think his hard working attitude is unique and extremely marketable!I even bought hellbents and have bought movies to just watch him throw down!
Come on k2, dakine, scott whoever! Support this guy! I wanna see what he does next season!

Everyone here understand how much Charley rips, so voice your opinion with a short email to each of Charley's sponsors: K2skis.com, scottusa.com, dakine.com, and orage.com
Thanks guys, I just sent my emails and I hope you guys support this guy, Charley is what our sport is defined as, lets keep it that way.

his line in EDIAS when he sends that double stager that's like 30+ to hard snow and then the super quick 180 on landing then off the 10 footer is so sick, that was a stop, rewind, watch again moment

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support. You guys just got me so fucking stoked for the season! We are off to a good start here in Whistler with lots of snow already and we all had our Hellbents out for opening day last saturday and it was sick. I can't wait to fire up the sled and start shooting with the boys again soon, always good times! I hope I can keep you stoked for years to come, and will keep skiing as hard as possible for as long as possible, ski bum for life. Thanks again, Charley

Charley. Slays.

A man who loves the mountain, but doesn't hesitate to murder every feature she offers.

Seriously Charley's seggy in EDIAS is my favorite because he just goes out and has fun, and in doing so he seriously kills it. Mad props to Charley and all who ski like him, he is one of the reasons I am so stoked for skiing. Keep it up dooder

so glad to see this thread he fuckin killed it in edias probably my favorite part the way he throws the corks with hellbents and fuckin smooth grabs blows my mind

His segment in EDIAS was soooo damn sick. I bet if any of us stood at the top of some of his airs we wouldn't even contemplate the stuff that he does. None the less, he stomps shit.....switch. His style is just so, raw, I guess. It's so awesome.

raw is def a good way to describe charley's style. he fucking killed it in EDIAS. his segment was the most motivational segment i have seen in a few years.

To say that charley slays would be an understatement... He freaking destroys everything he rips...

a true inspiration seriously! keep on slaying!

like many have said, a sponsorship is a business deal not a right for those who obtain them. They are basically "hired" to market product. What we might think is sick and original doesn't exactly mean mainstream and dollar signs to those in-charge of this wonderful consumer oriented sport we all love and cherish so much. There is a reason why certain people become recognized and others do not. More than anything skiing is a popularity contest in terms of sponsorship. yes, there are "core" people out there who are doing what they want in skiing but by just taking part in the sport your part of all of it. It's like an underground artist trying to say that any other aspect of his music outside the underground genre is trash, although much of the influence in his work is taken from past pop culture that other people didn't think was core. I guess what I'm saying is being self righteous in a sport like skiing is retarded, saying one person has more of a right to have certain opportunities should lie (in skiing) within the the riders accomplishments in skiing and overall appeal. People say skiing is a fashion show, well it is.....get over it. Charley deserves recognition, but until he slays some major competition he will not be seeing mucho dinero. That just how the industry works.

Actually has placed in top 3 in major comps in years past.
Skiing may be a fashion show but sponsoring the same image over and over again is monotonous. I have no interest in buying product from the looks of some of the skiers out there and would much rather support the image of a hard working individual and is style. I think thats the point of alot of peoples posts....maybe a time to change things up.

think of it from a business standpoint. they pick up riders to market their product and get people hyped on it. thats why it is about marketability.

Monies or no monies you produced my favorite video section of the year for the last two years.

Have a sick season dude!
