Just wanted to post this in the forum.

Thanks to all the people on NS for helping me out.

And let me know if you guys any questions about making ski films.

Peace

Skiers, Snowboarders, Team managers, Ski film producers, Marketing dudes and

friends I say "GOOD DAY",

Just wanted to give you an update on what I have been doing in the past few

months. As some of you may already know I've left the ski film business to

move into the realm of Film and Television post- production. My departure

from Pléhouse Films was done the best way I could imagine. I think everyone

at Pléhouse is very proud of SKIMATIC and the company will grow more and

more. It was hard for me to say goodbye to the ski life, but the attraction

of the film and television industry was to intense for me to refuse. Plus,

everybody at Pléhouse was very supportive of this natural progression in my

life.

So I will now be working for Mandarine24, a visual effects, animation and

post-production firm based in Montreal. I will execute the role producer and

marketing/communications manager for the company. We have recently done

effects for several award winning music videos.

BUT! Images are always better than words: we have re-done our website and

it's online as of today.

http://www.mandarine24.com

Check it out, it's really worth it!

I will still be involved in snowsports through D-Structure and photography

and of course for the joy of riding. And look from some e-mails from me in

the coming months, there's a few people out there in the industry I would

love to work with.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who helped me and

inspired me in the past few years. The newschool industry made me a better

person and a better producer (we all know how hard it can be sometimes). And

I would especially like to thank Pléhouse Films for believing in me.

Well that's it. I hope to see any of you on a slope really soon.

Cheers!!

- Charles Boileau

Thanks for the great movies you have worked on and for the great day at the Vélirium this summer ;)!

plehouse is very truly on that "other level." a motion/ video design syndicate could be one of the most badass places to work also though. your influence on the ski industry has been profound and i hope you can continue to do that at your new job. congrats on your success with plehouse

Chuck, good to hear things are still going well, sounds like you're in a super fun enviroment. I wanna see what types of things you guys have done but the damn internet here sucks and the demo is taking forever to load... I'm sure it's sick though.

Charles, thanks for creating such sick stuff with plehouse in the past couple years. Im not sure if plehouse will be the same, but good luck with your new job.
