Chapelle's Show comin back, without Chapelle

I just read in NY Times that next summer Comedy Central is gonna air all the unseen season three footage, supposedly its enough for 4 half hour episodes, Chapelle isn't involved, but his co-writer Neil Brennen may be. Comedy Central is gonna have clips up next monday on their site too. Just though I'd let everyone know.
 
how weird is that? i guess they need to do something with all the footage they have from when chapelle was in rehab.
 
Probably meaning that it doesn't have Dave talking about the clips, just the skits they have shot for the shows?
 
it doesnt have dave talking and doin the intros and what not, but it has him in all the skits, its everything they filmed with him before he went to africa.
 
I always wanted to know who that neil guy is cuz he co wrote chappelles show and he was also one of the producers(or something) with Half Baked(best movie ever probably)

and he didnt go to africa, my dad worked on the show, he just got pissed at neill and stopped writing the episodes. its hard to have a show when the writers/ creators arnt talking.
 
He went to africa to get some psychiatric treatment. He didn't feel comfortable continuing what he was doing.

I hope this is actually one big joke, and he comes back from africa in like a few years with tons of footage and new material. Maybe he's comparing the lives of africans here and africans on their continent.
 
I don't know about your town, but people here were saying that before chappelle even did that skit. It just got more people doing it.

I think its good to get him out of there, to change the content and put someone else in charge, theres tons of funny people out there, especially in his organization, and if they can make a good show, they should. Just dont call it chapelles show. thats retarted.
 
yeah you guys are stupid the third season is coming soon and chappelle is involved 100%. Why wouldn't he be a part of a show called The CHAPPELLE show
 
it obviously has chappelle you fuckin idiots, it just doesnt have him doing the intros and what not, theyre only playing what they filmed before he left the show.
