Ok so I bought a LG Voyager off Ebay and the guy said it had a clear ESN to activate well I got it in the mail today and turns out he lied and its reported lost or stolen. Now I can't return it because the guy wont take returns and I don't want t be screwed out of 150 bones. Is there anyway POSSIBLE to change the ESN/MEID number so I can still use this phone? I will do whatever it takes to get this to work cause I don't want to lose my money. I heard something about changing the phone ID number but I have no idea what that is so any help would be awesome.

no u cant-the esn is assigned to the phone- the only way to get a newone would be to change around the proccesing unit and also call the manufacturer for a new Electronic Serial Number(ESN)- we tried to do that for a customer and through nokia it costs around 250 dollars- its mostly for goverment officials that need a secure phone- so no ur best bet would be to find that guy who did that to u- also u cant get unlocked cdma phones cheap because they are all bought up by verizon and sprint - and u cant get them from overseas because they use gsm(sim card) not cdma over their- if u have att or tmobile just buy a new sim card and slide it in- if not ur screwed

Dude, No returns? He lied about his product, go after his ass and get your money back..If it was a legit sale then he could tell you no returns, he lied about his product. File a complaint to Ebay. Also, you can use a sim card if it is the Lg voyager, thats a cdma phone.

For editing MEID, ESN you can use aprogram named “DFS tool”. This tool supports a lot of CDMA handsets. It canhelp you with your phone without large knowledge’s in CDMA technologies. It isprofessional tool with easy interface! To read about you can here - cdmatool.com392533.jpeg
