Changes made at Jack Frost/Big Boulder for 06/07 season..

well they updated their website

PLEASE READ - The Season pass is a credit card type pass that the pass holder must present at the Jack Frost or Big Boulder ticket window each time they come to ski/board to pick up (and must wear) a daily lift ticket on the slopes. If the pass includes rental, it is on a first come - first served basis. Passes are not transferable. Misuse of pass or violation of area rules can result in loss of pass and/or prosecution

so now we have to get a ticket even if we get a pass every time we ski. and for another hundred bucks we get to surpass the whole ticket thing.

also, no discounts for pass holders when you get food

and the pass is a lot more expensive than it was last year.

i dont really know what they're thinking..how will this benifit them?

 
how will it benefit them? Profitibility. I guess they figure increased sales on food. no transfer of passes. increased ticket prices. megan I know the core group that are on MB's talking about the snow in the off season are upset. Seems to me that that is what peak resorts policy is. sucks.

yeah but its shitty that they did it too the season pass holders, those are the people that the mt should try to conform to and make life easy. ehh w/e from what i was hearing at zgames last year sounds like boulder should be pretty legit!
 
^the z games are as far from legit as it comes; you know that as well as i do. the only thing legit about them is the prizes.

but seriously boulders comps are legit, you would have seen that if you came to the comps they had in march and the may day jam, they were a lot lore laid back and chill compared to the z games.
 
yo ben i didnt get any stuff from bear yet either. they're waiting on orders since it'll be this year's stuff and not last years, so i wouldnt worry about it too much. but yea, boulder's screwy to say the least. we'll see how this season plays out.
 
yea thats what they told me, I got my skis and jacket from bear months ago though, so I dont know why they havent gotten you your stuff yet
 
what skis/jacket etc did you get from bear? cuz i talked to chuck and ordered next years predator and scratches. just curious as to what you got cuz if it was this years, then yea understandible that you got it already. i'm waiting patiently though, no rush haha
